The report is based on a message received by the AuthEmailTest.com service, so it can examine how the message was generated and formatted, how it was routed, which sending mail system connected, and what actually arrived rather than relying on DNS-only checks.
It checks the real connecting IP, reverse DNS and forward-confirmed reverse DNS, HELO identity and matching, SMTP STARTTLS, envelope sender, header From, Sender and Reply-To identities, message structure and MIME formatting, SPF, every DKIM signature, DMARC alignment and policy, and the ARC chain when present.
It also performs independent spam and content-filtering analysis and reviews practical message-quality signals, including HTML and image handling, attachments, message size, reply handling, visible and one-click unsubscribe options, and whether link domains are consistent with the authenticated sender identities.
